I will definitely be calling them again. Lawrence and Red were absolutely FANTASTIC! Thank you guys! they were very prompt, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Lawrence and Red went above and beyond to help me with my tank, they worked around a little trouble with a plant that was on the way and with unclogging the pipe. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. Thanks to the company for being so prompt. I called them mid-morning and they advised me they were very busy, but would have someone out to my property by the afternoon, and they actually showed up just after Noon. After paying a plumber $700 to snake my lines and assuring me the issue was fixed and I wouldn't need to pump my tank, I had to schedule laundry, showers, dish washing at different times or chance a nasty back up. Finally got septic water flooding my entire bathroom last night. I found a receipt from the previous owner for DARRELL CREW SEPTIC and called early this morning. When I explained what was happening she promised to get someone out asap. Within an HOUR I was lucky enough to get Lawrence and Red. They pumped the tank, gave me some advice and even managed to unclog the line to the house that the plumber missed. And they didn't charge me $700.MY HEROS!! I work for 7 Star Realty Inc. and we had a property that needed to be serviced and inspected by a specific date. The company we had scheduled initially had several scheduling issues and equipment malfunctions. We were on the last day to get the inspection done and honestly I was in a bit of a panic. They were friendly and professional, were able to accommodate us on the day I called. They not only gave us a thirty minute window when they would be there but also called to let us know the driver was on his way. I emailed them on their website on Sunday night and within an hour I already had received an email confirm that they would be at my house on Monday morning. They were early, around 10 AM. Lawrence and Red were not only very professional, knowledgeable and polite, but they were quick to show me every detail of what they were doing to my system. It turned out that my overflow was the fault of a bad pump. I also needed an alarm because the old one wasn't operable. They explained what the system needed and told me up front what the cost would be. The entire job took less than an hour and a half and the clean-up was perfect. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs honest work and I will be calling them in the future to pump my septic tank. ~ roger e

Being a newbie to the septic world I went into calling for service with a bunch of questions. I called three companies and left messages. One called back to tell me they don't service east of I-95 (I'm in Yulee). I widened my search and saw the good reviews on Darrell Crews Septic. I called them and they answered the phone! They arrived early the next day. Lawrence and Jonathan went to work, troubleshot the problem (replaced a bad pump), and pumped out the system, cleaned the filter, assessed the condition of my septic box, and educated me on the entire system. I feel I got an honest service and fair price. I wouldn't consider using anyone else, and I will never again use the phrase, "sh*tty day at work" again! Today, January 29, 2025, Darrell Crews Septic Services techs came to my house in Yulee for a preventative maintenance pump-out of my septic system. I made my call to them at 8:30 am this morning and they were at my house just before noon and this was a non-emergency service request. This was my first experience with Darrell Crews Septic Service, and I was thoroughly impressed by Forest and his assistant tech. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job. In the past, I had another local company service my septic system, but they often caused problems and never performed a pump-out as thoroughly as Darrell’s techs did. I found them based on recommendations from my neighborhood apps and I’m so grateful I did as I was having no luck even getting a call back to provide an estimate for what I was needing with several companies located in Jacksonville. As soon as I completed an inquiry, Angie from the front office was prompt with reaching out to get next steps going for providing an estimate and scheduling the service. My technician, Nate, was so very polite, hardworking and efficient as he completed the service we needed. Emergency service with top notch customer service and a price that is the same as if I scheduled the work! I called Darrell's crew early Sat am and they arrived just after lunch. TJ and Mr. Jewel were experts at their job, provided us with education on our system and had some hysterical stories to share of jobs they have worked in the past! Since it was a Saturday emergency call I was bracing myself for the bill, which turned out to be the same price as a every day scheduled call. Great crew, great work, great company. Hi, I just had my septic tank serviced by Darrell's Septic Crew.' The first technicians showed me there was a large crack in the lid of the septic tank. They answered all my questions and gave me options. I chose to have the septic tank pumped out that day, and then have a new septic lid placed a few days later. The second pair of technicians arrived on a Saturday (Johnathan. and Robert). Again, they were knowledgeable, answered all my questions. They sent me pictures of before and after and gave me a detailed receipt. The technicians were timely and gave me confidence they knew what they were doing. It was time to have our tank pumped. I called a few places nearby and either couldn't get an appt. coordinated or they showed up without an appt! Darrell Crews Septic was my 3rd call and should've been my 1st. Their office coordinator Precious (what a beautiful name!) was wonderfully polite and helpful. I got a confirmation call the night before the appt. and then 30 min. before the truck arrived. Forest and Josh were polite, diligent, explained their work and VERY NEAT with our landscaping--before and after! We look forward to Darrell Crews Septic caring for our tank for years to come. My husband and I are buying a home and we hired another company to do our pumpout and inspection. We had to have it done within our inspection period. We had not received the report and after waiting 3 days finally got a hold of them and they not only failed to do the job, they didn’t even remember what it was we had hired them for. So in a panic I started calling other companies and no one could accommodate getting it done before our inspection period expired, until I called Daryl.. When I needed my septic tank pumped and the filter cleaned, I had been told that only XYZ (a different company) serviced my area. After digging a little deeper, I discovered not not did Darrel Crews service my area, but the hundreds of dollars I was quoted by XYZ to clean the filter was included in Darrel Crews’ pump out service. Wow! The service crew were informative, polite, professional and made a minimal impact on my yard. Today, a different crew — Tyler & Tommy — came to replace what I thought was a broken septic pump. They checked the tank, and said my pump was working just fine. Many companies would not be as honest and would have no qualms about replacing a working part just to get the hundreds of dollars involved. These polite, prompt, professionals also proved to me this company has extremely high standards in hiring folks who uphold the integrity of this fine company. ~ Lisa M

The previous company evidently gave me bad information regarding the location of my tank. It's a very long complicated story that I'm sure will cost me greatly in the future! Lawrence and Nathan were so patient with me when I insisted it must be there. (That's where they dug out and pumped from before.) The entire area is covered with hand made colored pavers and plants where I was told I could plant without it effecting the access. My tank was so full I don't believe the previous company actually drained it. I appreciate their professionalism and attempts to put my pavers back. Thanks guys! Called them on Saturday am about 8:30am and left message. They called back within the hour and at our house 2 hours later. John and Forrest were very professional and experienced in finding, opening and pumping our septic tank. I asked for a price range on the phone and it actually turned out to be less when the job was completed! They did a terrific job and we are thrilled. They gave us some pointers on how often to have it pumped so we don't have this issue again and recommended a product to purchase at the hardware store to keep our drain field clear of tree roots. A Saturday the day before Easter our plumming started to back up. We have guest coming out on Easter Sunday and we called around everywhere trying to find someone to come out and pump our tank for us. Everyone was closed. I finally reach Darrell Crews septic pumping and they were able to come out same day. We had just purchased our dream home just 4 days ago we couldn't find the tank. They were able to find the tank, pump the tank out and unclogged the pipe for us. I can't say enough about Darrell Crews and their staff...After finding out (the hard way) that we were on septic and not city sewer, I frantically called around town to have someone come out and pump it for us. The team at Darrell Crews not only said they could do it, they showed up within an hour and a half of my call. They were EXTREMELY professional about everything. I highly recommend this company! I called at 9:00 am and was told they would not be able to come until noon the next day. About 12:30 the same day I got a call saying "they would be here in 20 minutes"!! They arrived promptly and got right to it. Absolutely fantastic. I would be hard pressed to express how great this company is in words, but I'll try. Prompt service, called on Tuesday to schedule a routine pump out service and they had me on the schedule for Friday. The crew arrived as promised, on time. Service was fast, friendly and professional. They provided input on future service and assessed the health of the system. Price was exactly as quoted over the phone. I found out about Darrell Crews’ Septic Tank Services after hiring another well-known pumping company to drain my septic tank. I am new to septic tanks and took the other company at its word that the job had been done properly. 11 days later, the toilets in the house started making weird noises and while I was walking in the yard, I discovered that the other company had left an unsafe walking environment. I reached out to Darrell Crews’ team and Lawrence and Nathan were sent out to service the septic tank. Both men were very professional and knowledgeable. Lawrence really took the lead and uncovered that the septic tank itself had never been drained, only the dosing tank. Lawrence was very honest about what it would take to drain the septic tank properly and refused to take my money for work that he knew would not solve the problem, so I heeded his suggestion and specifically requested that he return on a separate occasion. We had a different company come out and pump out our septic tank and ended up not being able to take a shower for 5 days. When we called them back they were no interested in coming back out. I am truly impressed with the crew that worked tirelessly in undesirable circumstances & severe thunderstorm warnings to provide the service we so desperately needed.
